Founding

SKW was established in 1980 in the city of Singapore. In the 1980's, SKW started supplying parts for British vehicles such as Leyland and Bedford. As time goes by, these British vehicles were rendered obsolete by the emergence of the Swedish and German vehicles such as Volvo, Scania and Mercedes.

From the beginning till 2006

From a tiny office in Serangoon Road back in 1980 to the 3-storey warehouse in Ubi from 1997, SKW has been always been the number 1 choice for automotive spare parts for Volvo and Scania vehicles. Since 20th Feb 2006, SKW has relocated to a new 50,000 sq ft premise located at Tuas, and with that advantage, SKW is poised to serve all customers even better! Whether you are a fleet owner or a reseller, our ex-stock advantage will bring about more business opportunites for everyone.

The founder and managing director has over 32 years of experience in this autoparts industry, and as such understands the demands and requirements of vehicle owners. He has established a “One Stop Centre” concept whereby customers can acquire most, if not all, of their required parts. The brand TRUCKMART encompass all that SKW stands for.

The brand name TRUCKMART is respected throughout Asia for its high quality products at reasonable pricing. Users have repeatedly requested for TRUCKMART products and that is the ultimate sign of the customer's confidence and loyalty in the brand. Today, our products are distributed in more than 30 countries around the globe.

TM MOTOR WORKS - Your one-stop vehicle repair

In May 2007, SKW established TM Motor Works Pte Ltd, a one-stop vehicle repair specialising for the European vehicles such as VOLVO, SCANIA, MERCEDEs and MAN. In 2008, we were appointed the authorised service centres for the Chinese buses of ZONDA, SHENLONG and GOLDEN DRAGON
